WHITETAIL STORY:

Evening hunt on Nov 7, 2017. I saw the buck jump our neighbors fence onto our property and worked up the fence line. I watched him make a rub on a pine tree and ended up breaking off a portion of the tree left tangled in his antlers, which resembled the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree, hence the name…

The buck came withing bow range and presented a shot at about 20 yards. I drew back the Matthews and let the Rampage do the rest. A quick, clean kill and a special whitetail.

I tried to save the branch as a part of the euro mount, but the branch ended up falling apart.
